Other names: Clear eye, See bright

The many Sage species were utilized in traditional medicine by cultures spanning the entire globe. In European medicine, tea from the leaves proved a soothing eyewash and bath aromatic. A tincture of clary sage was used for hysteria and colic as a basalm and antispasmodic.
