Member of the Asteraceae family. Common boneset grows to a height of 3-4 feet and is found in low, wet areas of the Eastern United States. Its stem is slightly hairy, and the plant has opposite connate-perfoliate leaves. White or purple flowers cluster into groups on top of the plant. Common boneset typically blooms from July-October.
