Member of the Brassicaceae family. Bulbous bittercress reaches a height of 5-18 inches tall, and it grows in low, wet wooded areas in eastern North America. Its leaves are alternate in arrangement along its stem, and orbicular/oval in shape. Four-petaled flowers are white or purple in color. Bulbous bittercress blooms April-June.
