Butler Recognized as Tree Campus USA for 7th Year

Butler University was recognized for the 7th year as a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. The Tree Campus USA program helps colleges and universities around the country establish and sustain healthy community forests. This last year’s accomplishments and submission were guided by retired Director of The Friesner Herbarium and affiliate of the CUES, Rebecca Dolan, and Instructor of Biological Sciences, Marva Meadows. These passionate and dedicated individuals have been the backbone of Butler’s Tree Campus USA achievement in the past, present, and future. Their commitment to this university and sustainable ecosystems have been consistent over their tenure allowing for Butler University to obtain grants from the Arbor Day Foundation
